Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Benchlog service and comply with applicable Korean law, including the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.

1Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of Benchlog ("the Company") and its users with respect to the use of the Company's SaaS collaboration service ("the Service").

2Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "User" — a member who uses the Service under these Terms.
  2. "Workspace" — a collaboration unit provided by the Company to its members.
  3. "Content" — any data a User posts to or stores in the Service, including documents, records, and files.

3Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

  1. These Terms take effect when posted within the Service or notified by email.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms within the bounds of applicable law and will give notice at least 7 days before the effective date (30 days for changes unfavorable to Users).
  3. If a User does not agree to an amendment, the User may stop using the Service and terminate the agreement.

4Article 4 (Registration)

  1. Only individuals aged 14 or older may register (Personal Information Protection Act Art. 22-2; Network Act Art. 44).
  2. Registration is completed after email verification.

5Article 5 (Use of the Service)

  1. The Company aims to provide the Service 24 hours a day, year-round.
  2. The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for system maintenance, equipment repair, or other unavoidable reasons, with prior notice where practicable and after-the-fact notice in urgent cases.

6Article 6 (Fees and Payment)

  1. The Service is currently provided free of charge.
  2. If the Company introduces paid plans in the future, it will specify the fees, payment methods, and refund policy in advance and obtain the User's consent before applying them.
  3. Upon introducing a paid service, the Company will guarantee Users' rights to withdrawal of subscription and refunds under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.

7Article 7 (Rights to Content)

  1. Rights to Content a User posts to or stores in the Service belong to that User.
  2. The Company stores and processes Content only to the extent necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the Service, and does not provide Content to third parties without the User's consent.

8Article 8 (User Obligations)

  1. Users must not misappropriate others' information or provide false information.
  2. Users must not interfere with the normal operation of the Service.
  3. Users must not infringe third parties' rights, including copyright; where an infringement report is received, a takedown procedure under Article 103 of the Copyright Act applies.

9Article 9 (Company Obligations)

The Company complies with applicable laws, including the Personal Information Protection Act, the Network Act, the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Act on Fair Labeling and Advertising, and the Copyright Act, and endeavors to protect Users' personal information. Specifics of personal-data processing are governed by the Privacy Policy.

10Article 10 (Termination and Data Deletion)

  1. Users may terminate the service agreement at any time.
  2. Users may request deletion of their account and personal information, and the Company will process such requests within the period prescribed by applicable law.

11Article 11 (Limitation of Liability)

  1. The Company is not liable for service interruptions or damages arising from force majeure, the User's fault, or other causes beyond the Company's reasonable control.
  2. The Company's liability for damages is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms and any dispute concerning use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea; any dispute shall be submitted to the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's principal office as the court of first instance.
